Router Security Settings to WPA-2 Type

To update your Nighthawk router's WiFi name (SSID) and switch the security mode to WPA2, you can use the router interface after completing setup with the NETGEAR Nighthawk App.

Open the Router Login Page: Connect your device to the Nighthawk router's network, open a web browser, and enter the router's IP address, such as 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1, into the address bar.
